Our Composites shop at ESDC offers some of the most advanced tools to manufacture a variety of composite materials like carbon fiber and fiberglass. Our stations are equipped to perform precise cutting, laminating and bonding, molding and curing, and trimming and finishing. We are capable to create complex shapes with optimal strength and durability, without sacrificing high-quality surface finishes and precise edges.

Tools:

One of the tools we have is the DualDraw downdraft table. This table is designed to pull dust, debris and harmful particles down and away from the workspace. This machine ensures our staff to work clenaly, safely and efficient to produce quality products with the professional-grade equipments. Also, we have is the Harvey G-800 Air Industrial Dust Processor. It is capable to capture fine dust particles. Like the DualDraw downdraft table, it is another professional air filter we have to ensure a clean working environment.

Another tool we have is the Light Armor curing oven. Like the name suggests, it's function is to cure and harden carbon fiber, fiberglass and other resins. It is an industry-standard machine that provides a controlled environment with specific temperature and humidity levels to achieve the absolute desired strength, durability and stability in composite materials. It can also accelerate the curing process, making the shop capable of giving speedy and efficient services to user's composite design needs.

Additionally, we have an industry-standard fume hood to safely handle and contain hazardous and volatile substances in the shop. We also have a high-end JB Industries Platinum Vacuum Pump to remove air and compress layers of composite materials to ensure proper adhesion.
