The Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Lab (BIM 110L) course gives senior-level biomedical engineering majors experience with basic manufacturing and machining techniques. The course introduces various techniques with both manual and computer numerical control (CNC) mills, lathes, band saws, and more. After completion of the BIM 110L course, students will have access to the Engineering Fabrication Laboratory to work on their projects if needed.
BIM 110L: Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Lab (2 units)
CAD Lab: 2 hours; Machine Lab: 3 hours.
Prerequisites: BIM 105, BIM 108, and BIM 109.
